Prof. Archana Bhat, holds MTech degree in Networking and Internet Engineering and B.E in Information Science and Engineering. She has 13 years of teaching experience and 2 years of industry experience. She is pursuing her Ph.D. under VTU. Prof. Archana is an active member of professional organizations such as ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education) and IAENG (International Association of Engineers), indicating her engagement with the broader technical community. As a mentor, Prof. Archana has successfully guided VTU-sponsored and KSCST projects, few of them include User friendly devices for physically challenged people, Vision based banknote detection, Smart basket shopping using IoT and Cloud. She has published several papers in reputed journals. She has contributed to the academic community by publishing papers in both conferences and journals within the domains of Machine Learning and IoT. Recognizing the importance of staying current with technological advancements, she has actively participated in various workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and NPTEL courses.
