Prof. Madhusudhana H N did his MBA in Financial Management from Bangalore University securing First Rank and Gold Medal. Prior to this, he did his M.Sc., in Physics / Electronics at Mangala Gangothri, Konaje, Mangalore, Mysore University securing third rank. He has over 40 years of Industry experience in India’s premier space research organization ISRO as a Management Scientist. He has worked in the areas of strategic planning, budget planning and economic analysis, costing and cost analysis, MIS, Administrative Management and allied areas. He has taught Project Management for MTech., course in Geo informatics of VTU. He was on the Board of Studies of MBA programme in an engineering college. He has published several papers in reputed periodicals including international journals. He has also carried out detailed analytical studies on the techno-economic analysis of Indian Space programme bringing into limelight the economic and social benefits of the Space Programme for a country like India. He has keen interest in teaching and research. In recognition of his dedicated services and meritorious contribution to Indian Space Programme, he was awarded (a) “SPACE GOLD MEDAL 2003” by Astronautical Society of India; (b) “ISRO MERIT AWARD 2008”, (c) “ISRS President’s Medal 2013” by Indian Society of Remote Sensing.
