About the Department

The Department of Electronics and Communication was founded in 2001, starting with an annual intake of 60 students. Over time, the department witnessed growth, and the intake capacity was increased to accommodate more students. The intake was raised to 180 students, reflecting the increasing demand for education in electronics and communication engineering. Currently, the department has a capacity to enrol 120 students annually. The department boasts well-equipped laboratories, demonstrating a commitment to providing students with hands-on learning experiences. Having the latest equipment and tools aligns with the evolving needs of the industry and ensures that students are prepared to tackle real-world challenges. The faculty members possess at least a Master's degree, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in their respective fields. Their experience enriches the learning environment by bringing practical insights and industry perspectives into the classroom. This experience can greatly benefit students as they navigate through complex concepts and real-world applications.

Some faculty members have completed their doctoral degrees, indicating a deep commitment to research and academic excellence.
