Dr. S. Karunakara has worked in various reputed institutions at different academic levels. He obtained a First Class in B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Bangalore University and completed his M.Tech with Distinction in Manufacturing Science and Technology from VTU. Passionate about research in materials, he earned his Ph.D. in Composite Materials from VTU. He has presented papers in national and international journals and conferences and is a lifetime member of ISTE. Known for his commitment to education, he believes in empowering students through quality teaching.

Dr. Mohammed Mathenulla Shariff

Assistant Professor

Dr. Mohammed Mathenulla Shariff completed his B.E. from Ghousia College of Engineering, M.E. (Machine Design) from UVCE, and Ph.D. from Presidency University, Bangalore. With 16+ years of experience in teaching, research, and administration, his research interests include Polymer Matrix Composites, Machine Design, and Kinematics. He has published 5 papers, secured a KSCST-funded project, and presented at several conferences. A patent holder in Material Science and Manufacturing, he also taught in the Sultanate of Oman. He is a Life Member of IAENG.

Mr. Anil Kumar R

Assistant Professor

Mr. Anil Kumar R holds a B.E. from Ghousia College of Engineering and an M.Tech from PES College of Engineering. He brings over 10 years of academic experience. His areas of expertise include Additive Manufacturing, Robotics & Automation, CAD/CAM, and Non-Traditional Techniques. He has led 3 VTU-funded student projects and is a Life Member of ISTE.

Prof. Shruti Naik

Assistant Professor

Prof. Shruti Naik earned her B.E. from Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology and her M.Tech from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. With over a decade of teaching experience, her research focuses on Resistance Spot Welding in aluminium automotive components using FEM. She has secured funding for 3 VTU student projects and is a Life Member of ISTE. She also won second place in a National Technical Paper Presentation.
