Softwares Available for Research
- Operating System: Windows 10,11, Linux and Red Hat is available at the research labs for all the research scholars, faculties and students.
- Ms office 2019 Professional plus: Ms office is available for document creation, editing, literature review and presentation purpose for the staff, research scholar and students at research centre.
- Visual Studio: A licensed visual studio software is available for code execution and project development which acts as IDE for the staff, research scholar and students at research centre.
- IoT Kits: Arduino implemented IoT kits are available for the research experiments with respect to IoT for the staff, research scholar and students at research centre.
- Open Source Software’s: Many open source software like Latex , mendely,open office etc are used for research by staff, research scholar and students at research centre.

NDI
The National Digital library of India is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not only just a repository with a search/browse facilities but also provides a host of services containing textbooks, articles, videos, audio books, lectures, simulations, fiction and all other kinds of learning media for the learners/users community. It is a project under Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). The objective is to collect and collate metadata and provide full text index from several national and international digital libraries, as well as other relevant sources. The NDLI provides free of cost access to many books and designed to hold content of any languages and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. The City Engineering College provides complete access to NDI.
JSTOR(Journal Storage)
JSTOR is a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources founded in 1994. Originally containing digitized back issues of academic journals, it now encompasses books and other primary sources as well as current issues of journals in the humanities and social sciences It provides full-text searches of almost 2,000 journals. Most access is by subscription but some of the site is public domain, and open access content is available free of charge. The City Engineering College provides complete access to JSTOR.
Shodhganga
A reservoir of Indian theses, is a digital repository of theses and dissertations submitted to universities in India. It has been observed that “online availability of electronic theses through centrally maintained digital repositories will not only ensure easy access and archiving of these but will also help in raising the quality and standard of research.”
The INFLIBNET Centre is also maintaining another repository known by the name Shodhgangotri which is a repository of the synopses and research proposals of the PhD programmes in Indian universities. It has been described as a repository of the details of Indian Research in Progress. The City Engineering College provides complete access to Shodhganga.
LABS
Students, faculty and staff have access to the computer labs, which provide the tools and technologies to produce websites, edit papers, complete class assignments, communicate via email, conduct data analyses and access library resources. Microsoft Windows software is available for word processing, statistics, spreadsheets and database management. A variety of graphics and website-creation software programs are also available.
