CEC actively encourages student participation in social activities, integrating moral values into the educational process. The college organizes annual events such as blood donation camps, plantation drives, and flag hoisting ceremonies on national holidays. Student engagement is a fundamental aspect of CEC, facilitated through collaborations with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Youth Red Cross Society.

Under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, CEC focuses on rural development challenges, such as health awareness, digital literacy and cleanliness drives, further integrating students into meaningful community service. Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with NSS cell has taken initiatives to support government schools in the neighbourhood community under the outreach program “School Bell” a campaign for government schools.

CEC organize patriotic events such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Rastriya Ekta Diwas and National Youth Day are celebrated with enthusiasm at CEC reinforcing a sense of national pride and unity among students. In addition to these activities, CEC addresses social and environmental issues through a range of programs, including seminars, tree plantation drives and invited talks. Few of the outreach programs addressed were Swachh Bharath Abhiyan, Road Safety Program, Health and awareness program on menstrual hygiene, Anti-tobacco Program, Say No to Plastic, Voting Awareness Program, Temple Cleaning Program, Plantation Program, Importance of ground Water Management System, Waste management, Career guidance program for government school students, Lake cleaning, contribution of Beehive boxes for cultivation to village farmers to create employability, Digital UPI payment awareness programs to street vendors and farmers.

Through these diverse initiatives and programs, CEC ensures that its students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them to be conscientious, responsible, and socially aware citizens.
