City Engineering College is a Technical College affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka. The institution offers undergraduate departments such as B. E in CSE, ISE, AIML, ECE, MECH & CIVIL and postgraduate departments like M.Tech, MCA & MBA. As per the norms of the government, 50% of seats are reserved for General Merit students, 32% of seats are reserved for OBC students, 13% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste and 03% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe students.
The students admitted in the institution are under the Single-Window System (SWS) or Management Quota (MQ) category. The SWS admission is controlled by the CET cell through a structured counselling process.
